Whilst complying to stringent guide lines and intense method statements,
Dowhigh installed new tarmac footways within the public park and provided
complex excavations to form wet areas and ledges to the existing water
course.
Through out the project dowhigh continued to
liaise with:

Dowhigh’s £3.4m contract involved reprofiling the motorway between junctions 5 and 6 to improve the drainage characteristics. The contract scope included;
• Laying of exinsitu recycled base course
• Laying a new binder course which was overlayed by Lafarge’s ‘Axo-flex’ proprietary thin surfacing
wearing course.
• The refurbishment of 10 gantries and seven bridges.
The contract was performed via partnering agreements with both Roadstone Recycling and Lafarge.
The project has recently been commended by the highways agency for the superior carriageway finish and the traffic management.
