Founded in 1975 by our current MD Dominick Murray, Dowhigh Limited has grown to become one of the largest independent Public Works companies in the region.

North West based, with satellite depots across the region, our strategy has been to retain all the ethos and ‘personal-touch’ of a family business, whilst competing effectively on a National stage within a market dominated by PLC’s and consortiums.

This unique mix of ‘hands-on’ professional management and strong leadership, combined with our ongoing commitment to innovation and best value has helped us to develop an impressive portfolio of clients.

At present we are serving the needs of over twenty Local Authorities from across the North West.

As working practices develop, our emphasis has changed over recent years, with Public Private Partnership agreements forming the core of our business.
